The San Francisco Giants made some minimal adjustments to the roster this time hoping for spectacular results. The Giants have struggled with average and OBP all season long. This time hits for a lot of extra bases but they have to get more people on base for Josh Hamilton, Huff and Cruz. Against RHP they moved Kinsler down to 5th behind Huff and they brought up Fernando Perez from AAA and sent down David Murphy. Murphy has been off to an absolutely horrible start this season against RHP and LHP. They brought up Perez because of his OBP and average. He plays outstanding defense to compliment Hamilton out in the Outfield. This move should also help Hamilton to get a little bit of a break from playing CF. They also sent down German Duran who was almost hitting .300 but he only had drawn 8 walks all season long. They were hoping he would fix that but it wasn't getting any better. They brought up Cintron to play backup to 2nd base, third and shortstop. He is a pretty good defender and a good substitute hitter. These changes they are hoping will make a huge difference in their offensive production to go along with arguably the #1 pitching staff in the USABL. We wish the Giants good luck.
